Preparing for Remote-Proctored Testing with ProctorU - Guardian Secure Browser

  1. Prior to test day
    1. Log into your ExamStudio Candidate Dashboard.
    2. Click Check My Computer on the ExamStudio candidate dashboard.
    3. Download the Guardian secure browser needed for remote proctoring.
  1.  On test day
    1. Allow 10 to 15 minutes to connect to a proctor and follow their instructions. This does not use any exam time. The exam timer only begins once you are in the test.
    2. Log into your ExamStudio Candidate Dashboard.
    3. Click Start on your ExamStudio candidate dashboard.
    4. After you click Start in your ExamStudio Candidate dashboard, you will be prompted to download a second application (LMI Rescue), which allows for a chat pop-up you use to connect with the remote proctor. When you download, be sure to go to your Downloads folder and open/run the application. You cannot connect with your proctor without this step.
    5. If you need to reconnect during your session, return to your ExamStudio dashboard and click Continue.
